During my time in India at NIT Calicut, I managed to meet new people and learn new skills related to Mahcine learning by talking with people in the field of Mahcine learning. I also enjoyed the food in India, as it was something quite unique. My time in India was amazing, and I will never forget the experiences and friendships I made during my stay.

My internship at the NIT was an incredible experience. Everyone there was very supportive and made me feel very welcome. At the NIT, I had the opportunity to apply my knowledge to the research that is done there, which I found very challenging and rewarding. I would definitely recommend doing an internship at the NIT and exploring Cerela alongside the internship.

Greetings, and I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for hosting my recent visit to the National Institute of Technology, Calicut. My visit was exceptionally fruitful, and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to engage with your esteemed faculty and vibrant student community. The discussions and interactions were both insightful and inspiring, providing me with valuable perspectives that I will carry forward in my ongoing work with my faculty host Prof. Santosh Thampi who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and productive, attending to every detail with great care. I was deeply impressed by the warmth and professionalism of your staff and the friendliness of the students. Their hospitality made my time at NITC not only productive but also genuinely enjoyable. Thank you once again for the efforts you and your team invested in making my visit so successful. I look forward to staying in touch and continuing the work we started at NITC over the last two months

During my time at NIT Calicut as a United States Fulbright Research Scholar, I had the privilege of engaging in a highly rewarding academic collaboration with faculty members in the Department of Architecture. My research, which focused on investigating the impact of hospitals' Indoor Environmental Qualities (IEQs) on patient health and well-being through an Evidence-Based Design (EBD) approach, greatly benefited from the expertise and insights of NITC faculty. Through our collaboration, I provided advisory contributions to the development of a manuscript that was submitted to the Journal of Cultural Heritage, further strengthening the exchange of knowledge between our institutions. The engagement with faculty members was both intellectually stimulating and productive, fostering meaningful discussions on healthcare architecture and evidence-based design principles in India. Equally inspiring was my interaction with the students at NITC. As part of my academic engagement, I conducted a workshop titled "Architecture and Health: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Health-Centered Architecture," where I was met with a highly enthusiastic and inquisitive student audience. The level of curiosity, analytical thinking, and willingness to engage in critical discussions was remarkable. The students actively participated in thought- provoking conversations about the intersection of design, healthcare, and well-being, demonstrating a deep commitment to advancing architectural knowledge. Their engagement extended beyond the classroom, as they expressed interest in further exploring research opportunities, emphasizing the institution's strong academic culture and its emphasis on student- driven learning. Beyond academia, my time at NITC offered a rich cultural exchange that added immense depth to my Fulbright experience. Engaging with students and faculty outside of formal sessions allowed me to gain firsthand insight into India's architectural heritage, traditions, and contemporary design challenges. The warm hospitality, openness to dialogue, and eagerness to share perspectives created an environment that was both welcoming and enriching. This cultural immersion provided a deeper understanding of local design philosophies and practices, which I believe is invaluable for fostering global collaboration in architecture and design. My time at NITC was truly transformative, and I look forward to continuing these meaningful academic and professional exchanges in the future.

As part of a SPARC program, I recently spent three weeks at NIT Calicut. Assistant Professor Rakesh Warier and the rest of the team at the international office were incredible hosts and made me feel truly at home. During my stay, I had the opportunity to present my research, deliver a series of lectures on Introduction to Deep Learning, and showcase the opportunities for conducting research and pursuing higher education in France— including our EMJMD program in Marine and Maritime Intelligent Robotics (MIR). I also had the pleasure of giving a talk on Generative Art Before Generative AI. To cap it all off, I was deeply honored to serve as the chief guest at the inauguration of the Center of Excellence for the Blue Economy at NITC. I really enjoyed interacting with students and faculty from the Departments of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Architecture. The innovative work being conducted at NITC, coupled with the enthusiasm and curiosity shown by the students, was truly inspiring. Beyond academics, Calicut had so much more to offer. I was fortunate to be there during the Kerala Literature Festival, with Professor Firoz graciously showing me around and helping me discover the rich cultural blend that this historic trading city embodies—not to mention the delicious Kerala gastronomy, which I already miss.
